2023 in Numbers: A Testament to Collaborative Success 

•  Sophos MDR: Over 19,500 customers (about the seating capacity of Madison Square Garden) are now actively protected by sophos cyber security MDR Security Operations analysts. Their team has investigated 179,783 cases so far this year – that’s one case every three minutes! 
• Sophos Firewall: More than 500,000 appliances are now actively deployed worldwide – stacked on top of each other that’s almost three times the height of Mount Everest! 
• Sophos Endpoint: More than 300,000 organizations are now protected by Sophos Intercept X. 
• Sophos XDR: 41,000 organizations use Sophos XDR for in-house security operations. 
• Sophos Email: Sophos defends the inboxes and data of over 20,000 organizations worldwide. 
• Sophos Wireless: Over 360,000 Sophos APs are currently deployed in customer environments

Sophos Firewall: v20 Generally Available 

Sophos Firewall v20 is now live, significantly boosting Sophos network security capabilities. With an innovative active threat response capability, networking enhancements, and added support for securing remote workforces, this release offers unparalleled security 

Sophos XDR: New Major Enhancements Available 

The latest release of Sophos XDR brings multiple enhancements, streamlining threat identification, investigation, and response. Notable improvements include expanded third-party integrations, enhanced case management capabilities, redesigned Detections user experience, and simplified (SQL-less) XDR search. 

Sophos XDR: Sophos NDR Generally Available 

Building on the success of Sophos NDR as an optional add-on to Sophos MDR, we’re excited to announce its availability for customers using Sophos XDR. Sophos NDR continuously monitors network traffic, detecting a wide range of security risks. 

Sophos Email: 23 in 23 

Sophos Email, blocking over 2.5 million malicious emails weekly, received 23 new features in 2023. Recent enhancements include multi-select Clawback, Quarantine Digest Schedule Update, and TLS Information in Message History. Combining Sophos Email with MDR Services provides integrated protection, detection, and response capabilities. 

Sophos SASE: DNS Protection Enters EAP 

The latest addition to our Security Services Edge (SSE) portfolio, Sophos DNS Protection, adds an extra layer of security by blocking access to unsafe domains. It seamlessly integrates with Sophos Firewall and provides telemetry for Sophos XDR and Sophos MDR. 

Sophos Firewall – ZTNA Connector 

The integration of ZTNA Connector into SFOS makes secure access to applications, systems, and data behind the firewall easier than ever. Deployable across various platforms, Sophos Firewall ensures secure applications wherever your customer’s applications reside. 

Sophos MDR: Veeam Partnership 

Sophos partnership with Veeam brings backup & recovery into the Sophos MDR fold. This integration allows visibility into security alerts related to backup deletion or tampering, enhancing the detection, investigation, and response to active attacks.

• 2023 Gartner Magic Quadrant named Sophos a leader for Endpoint Protection Platforms. 
• Analyst firm KuppingerCole has named Sophos a Market Leader in their Leadership Compass for Email Security, a testament to our joint commitment to excellence in email security. 
• CRN® has recognized Sophos Managed Detection and Response (MDR) as the product of the year, affirming its leadership in revenue and profit. This acknowledgment reflects the success of our partnership in delivering top-tier MDR solutions.
